He was born on 23 December 1987 in Amudalavalasa, Srikakulam district, Andhra Pradesh13 He did his primary education in Chennai till 7th standard, and then moved to Hyderabad, where he studied at St. Andrews School, St. Johns School, and Bhavan’s Vivekananda College

He was interested in acting and cricket from his childhood. He was selected for the under-19 Ranji Cricket Team and played under the captaincy of Ambati Rayudu. He also performed in a dance show where he impressed Chiranjeevi, who advised his father to bring him to cinema
