In 2013, Saurabh Netravalkar made his sole appearance in a Ranji Trophy match representing Mumbai.

He was also successful in the tri-nation U19 series held in South Africa leading up to the World Cup, taking 8 wickets and being named Man of the Series. Netravalkar was even recognized as the best junior cricketer in India for the 2009/10 season.

While his junior career was promising, he was unable to break into the competitive Indian senior team due to the presence of established fast bowlers. Netravalkar eventually moved to the United States and continued his cricket career there, representing the US national team.
